Jessica began her career in insurance in February 2012 at TBK Bank, formally known as, Colorado East Bank and Trust working in the loan department handling force placed insurance and escrows. In May of 2016 she worked with Brase Insurance Agency as a Licensed Agent and their Office Administrative Manager. Jessica started her own company, JD Insurance Agency in June of 2019.
Jessica has her Property and Casualty License. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in Business Ethics, an Associate's Degree in English and Accounting with 27 years experience in the financial accounting industry. She minored in Secondary Education, Multi-Level Wellness and Conditioning and received a Time Management, Stress Management and Preschool Candidate Certificate.
Jessica has been a member of the Lamar Lions Club where she has been the Treasurer since 2013. She donates a lot of her time to the Lions Kidsight Program as Coordinator and is the Scholarship Program Chairman. She is also a member of the International Society of Female Professionals. ISFP has a highly selective assessment and vetting process. It is a global professional association exclusive to like-minded women leaders, trailblazers, business influencers, and role models. Jessica's focus is to empower, inspire, and advance professional women through cross industry networking, branding, accreditation, professional development, career advancement, mentorship, and personal growth.
Jessica joined the Cañon City High School Tiger Pride Booster Club in August 2021 where they are dedicated to supporting student's participation in CCHS sponsored activities and recognize their achievements. She Joined BNI in 2022, which is a business networking group built to provide a source of referrals for like-minded businesses and professionals.
Jessica is married and has two children that she loves and adores. Family is her number one focus. She has the ability to build long, trusting relationships and has a real passion for helping others.
